Christmas Services

Sunday 21 December 6.00pm An Advent Service of Lessons, Poems and Carols – a special offering of music and Carols by Mark Joyner and his students with readings and poems from Scripture and Australian authors.
Wednesday 24 December 5.00pm – CHRISTMAS NATIVITY PLAY and HOLY COMMUNION – Gather with family and friends for a child-friendly telling of the Christmas story including some favorite Christmas carols. The service will include Holy Communion following the pageant.
Thursday 25 December CHRISTMAS DAY 9.00am – join us for a service of Holy Communion as we welcome the birth of the Christ child, God-With-Us.

Regular Services

• Sunday morning

  • 8am A traditional Eucharist with hymns (Book of Common Prayer), followed by morning tea in the hall. Children’s church operates at the rear of the church for primary school aged and younger children.
  • 9:30am A more modern Eucharist with hymns (A Prayer Book for Australia), followed by morning tea in the hall. Children’s church operates at the rear of the church for primary school aged and younger children.

• Thursday morning

  • 10am Eucharist in the Lady Chapel, followed by Coffee & Chat in the Supper Room

Special occasions

Baptism

We baptise infants, children and adults. Parents and godparents bring a child for baptism and commit to bringing up their child in the Christian faith.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptised as an infant or child. At a confirmation service, you commit your life to following Jesus Christ. Your friends and family as well as the Church community promise to support and pray for you.

Weddings

You are welcome to discuss your service of holy matrimony with our priest. In the Anglican church, weddings are services of worship.

St David’s seats 200 people. We have an AV system with microphones, cameras and screens, allowing you to share your service with people who cannot attend in person.

Funerals

Funeral services may be held at St David’s, whether or not there has been a previous connection with the parish.

St David’s seats 200 people. We have an AV system with microphones, cameras and screens, allowing you to share your service with people who cannot attend in person.

After the service, you may wish to adjourn to our hall for refreshments.
