March 2026
Sunday 1 March 9.00am – Confirmation and Holy Communion with Bp Sophie followed by reception and dedication of the new outdoor gathering space next to the Hall.
Sunday 15 March at 9.00am – Annual Vestry meeting after the service
Sunday 15 March at 3.00pm – Organ Concert presented and performed by our retiring organist, Dr Ray Booth. This promises to be an afternoon of delightful music. All Welcome!
Saturday 21 March – State Election. Hall is a venue and church will have number of fundraising stalls providing sustenance and pleasure for voters.
Sunday 22 March 3.00pm – Lyrebird Consort – Adelaide Fringe event

April 2026
Maundy Thursday April 2 – a reflective service starting at 6.00pm
Good Friday April 3 at 10 am – meditative service ending with the stripping of the altar

Music
Music is an important part of St David’s culture. During our Sunday and Festive services, we sing hymns supported by a 1563-pipe organ.
We also hold concerts of classical and contemporary music. We advertise upcoming events in our weekly newsletter, on our website (see above) and on our electronic notice board in front of the Church. We look forward to you joining us.

In The Community
We are active in our community in other ways to those listed above. We support a number of charities: Australian Board of Missions (ABM), Bush Church Aid (BCA), Leprosy Mission and Anglicare throughout the year, and direct funds to support the work of a guest speaker to the parish. Many concerts have been organised by the Church Organist to send financial aid to assist relief after a major natural disaster anywhere in the world.
We have a weekly collection for the East Adelaide Domestic Violence Service. If you would like to donate canned and long-life food or toiletries, please leave them in the basket in the narthex (the porch of the church).
