Special Services

You’re invited to come along to St David's and celebrate with us, any of the special services listed below.
Apart from the traditional times of Christmas and Easter, special services have included Grandparents' Sunday, Volunteers' Sunday, Mothering Sunday, and Blessing of the Animals.

CHRISTMASTIDE

8.00am - Holy Communion (BCP)
9.30am - Sung Eucharist

6.00pm - Children and Family Service - including a Blessing of the Crib and a special message for children
10.30pm - Christmas Music and Carols
11.00pm - 'Midnight' Service - Sung Eucharist

25 December - Christmas Day

8.00am - Holy Communion (BCP)

HOLY WEEK

PALM SUNDAY

• 8.00am and 9.30am

MAUNDY THURSDAY

• 10.00am - Maundy Thursday service
• 7.30pm - Solemn Eucharist

GOOD FRIDAY

• 9.00am - Liturgy of Easter

EASTER SUNDAY

• 8.00am - Traditional Holy Communion with Hymns
• 9.30am - Sung Eucharist

ANZAC DAY

• 5.00pm - Evensong

COMBINED SERVICES occur occasionally when the 8.00 and 9.30am services are amalgamated into one service at 9.00am.

* Most of the special services take place at the 9.30am Sunday service
