Lenten Studies 2019:
The Thursday group, led by Elizabeth Smith and Caroline Harch, will use a study that focusses on Courage, inspired by words of CS Lewis: “Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of all virtues at their testing point.”  Lent, as the season in the Christian calendar leading to the death and resurrection of Jesus, provides us with the opportunity to reflect on our journey as Christians together and asks important questions about our commitment to the selfless way of Christ and to one another.  The 5 week study can be purchased as a study guide or downloaded from the web: https://www.lentevent.com/be-inspired/   If you would like a copy purchased on your behalf, could you please indicate this on the sign-on form on the bench?
